In chapter 7 we begin looking at functions in a general way. This chapter is especially important for those going on to college algebra and precalculus 1 where functions are the main topic of interest. In 7.1 you'll practice with some common ways we use to describe functions. In 7.2 you'll begin operating (adding, subtracting etc,) on functions.
