So far, we’ve spent most of our time in this course simplifying expressions.  Today we’ll begin solving linear equations using a two-column table.  The two-column table is based on the idea of using inverse operations to “undo” the operations happening to your variable. When undoing more than one operation, the two-column table will help you perform inverse operations in the right order.
