Functions play an increasingly important role as you continue beyond introductory algebra. Even if math 70 is your last math course understanding how functions work is important since they're one of the most common ways mathematics is used in the "real" world. Today's lesson is covered in pages 109-126 in the Engaging Algebra textbook.
